Registration is now CLOSED. Thanks to all the teams participating. We have a record for 2012 with 134 teams – 38 from Canada! All inquiries please email: info@arizonzhockeyunion.com.
The schedule will be released February 1, 2012. Please do not email asking when it will be released as we will notify all team managers when the schedule is available on the website.
This is the 11th year for the Phoenix Presidents’ Day Invitational. Our event is hosted by volunteers from the Arizona Hockey Union, the youth hockey arm of the Arizona Hockey Clubs, a non-profit organization.
Proceeds from the event help fund our youth hockey program. The success of our tournament has provided over $25,000 in financial aid scholarships in each of the past three years.

Championship and consolation games will be held on Monday, February 20th and all games will be finished by 4:00 p.m on Monday, the 20th.

All teams should be in Phoenix and ready to play by Friday morning by 7am..

Division Entry Fees
Mite/Squirt/Peewee/Bantam A & B $1325.00
Peewee AA/Bantam AA/U18 A $1495.00
Midget U18 AA/ Midget U17 $1595.00
Our policy this year will be the same as last (and in previous years). Our goal for the tournament is to first attract as many out of state teams to allow for wide diversity and competition that might not normally play against each other in local or league play. We will first fill slots with out of state teams and fill available slots with local teams. We will extend invitations to all associations that play under the Arizona Hockey Club banner. We recognize this causes uncertainty and that you may decide to play in another tournament, but we want to be clear about our philosophy and policy. 
Submission:
Applications should be made by submitting a registration form and roster via the online application.  Applications will not be considered final until payment has been received.   

There will be a 4 game minimum.


ALL CANADIAN teams must enter roster with DOB at time of registration to ensure correct division placement. Any questions regarding which division to register for, please contact Chuck Allen, tournament direction at cvallen@q.com.  
While you will receive a “registration” confirmation, this is not an “acceptance” email. You will be contacted separately via email by the Tournament Registrar as to your acceptance. Hotel reservations should not be made until you receive an “Acceptance” email .

Mite/Squirt/Peewee/Bantam A & B (3) 13 minutes
Peewee AA/Bantam AA/U18 A (3) 15 minutes
Midget U18 AA/ Midget U17 (3) 17 minutes
Championship Teams in each division will receive the Phoenix Polar Bear Presidents'  Day Tournament Banner.  Each player on the championship team will receive a 'Champion' award.  'Runner Up' awards will also be handed out in all divisions.
This is a USA Hockey sanctioned tournament.   The sanction number for this tournament is: 12AZ006. USA Hockey rules regarding age classifications will be enforced.   .
